Next stop, great communities!
Tenants and their families were in the driving seat at a fun day in the south of Glasgow.
Around 1000 people were at Nethercraigs for a day organised by GHA’s local offices in Mosspark, Pollok and North Pollok.
They enjoyed live music, football, cycling, a climbing wall, petting zoo, bouncy castles and much more.
Older tenants put on a demonstration of line dancing, and partners including the police and fire service, and Pollok Credit Union were also on hand.
Meanwhile, GHA’s environmental teams were there to spread the word about our Changing Lives training programme – and show off some of their equipment.
Wee Lucy Dunbar, aged 15 months, pictured at the top of the page, was delighted to give one of the big grass cutters a try.
Locality Housing Director Joanne Diamond said: “This event was a great chance for the community to come together.
“As well as having fun in the sunshine, it was a good chance for GHA staff to let people know about the ways we can help with benefits, fuel bills and more – and how they can save money on their weekly shop through MySavings.”
