Youngsters do their bit for Kingsway

Kids and parents gave up their free time to carry out a litter pick around Kingsway Court and Kingsway Gardens in Scotstoun.

They joined GHA environmental staff and housing officers and got down to work clearing away litter and dead leaves.

And they were rewarded for their efforts with juice, snacks, goodie bags and a colouring competition back at the office.

Peter Smith, GHA’s housing manager for the area, said: “We know people really care about their neighbourhoods and it was great to see tenants and their children get stuck in today.

“Funny how all the sweeties were gone by the time I got back to the office though….”
