Drumchapel Caravan Project opens its doors

The Drumchapel Caravan Project is offering cut-price holiday breaks for GHA tenants and other people living in Glasgow.

Drumchapel Caravan Project

The G15 Youth Project is working with the Caravan Project offering families the opportunity to have a week’s holiday in a caravan based in Craig Tara, Ayr.

Who can apply? If you answer 'yes' to all of the following questions then you are eligible.

  • Do you live in the Glasgow area?
  • Have you not had a holiday in three years and don’t have any other opportunity to go on holiday this year?
  • Are you on a low income?
  • Are you facing challenging circumstances (for example, are you a carer, out of work, have someone in your family with a disability or just finding life tough?)
  • Can you pay for the holiday in full at least one month before it starts?

The caravans are suitable for up to a maximum of six family members. Free transport is available which picks you up at your house, takes you to the caravan park and returns you home the following week.

The total cost of the week holiday is £200, which can be paid up in installments.

Supporting the Drumchapel Caravan Project is another way GHA is helping care for tenants and families in our communities.
