Tasty day out for North Pollok tenants

Tenants enjoyed a feast of information – and food – at a GHA community fun day.

More than 50 tenants joined GHA staff at the North Pollok community event held at St James’ Parish Church.

Tenants were treated to hot food supplied by building company Cruden.

Charity ‘Move On Scotland’ also provided non-perishable food for tenants – with the remaining tins and packets handed to a community hall in Pollok the next day.

GHA staff were on hand to answer questions about welfare benefits, Universal Credit, debt and managing your money.

The Tenancy Support Service, run by Loretto, also offered help and support for people who were struggling to keep a roof over their head.

While the parents spoke with GHA staff, kids enjoyed a colouring competition.
