Knotweed not a problem for NETs

GHA's Neighbourhood Environmental Teams (NETs) love keeping communities in the south looking neat and tidy.

Knotweed before

Japanese Knotweed is a real nuisance in communities as it's expensive to remove, can grow through concrete and tarmac - and can even damage walls and foundations.

Our NETs received special training to learn how to tackle knotweed and get it safely removed.

Last year our in-house green team experts dealt with 91 cases of knotweed in the south of the city.

Check out the before and after photos of our NETs in action.
