How GHA helps people overcome barriers
GHA helps provide paid work experience, support and training for disabled people.
We work closely with the Glasgow Council for Inclusive Living (GCIL) to arrange work placements to help folk improve their skills.
Tenant Nina Garrett, from Shawlands, got a nine-month work experience at GHA’s office in Sandyhills in the north east.
She said: “I’ve learned about the work environment and developed my work skills.
“It’s also been really good for my confidence, knowing that I can do things myself.”
Another four people started placements with GHA this month.
