Tenants in the north east feeling the benefit
We've been working hard to improve homes and communities around the north east of Glasgow.
The 230 tenants in the high-rise blocks at 80 and 90 Charles Street in Royston have new bin hoppers, costing £42,000.
Paths at Royston Road were also upgraded, at a cost of £72,000.
Meanwhile, we’ve spent a total of £181,000 installing new close doors and new controlled entry systems on 35 homes in High Street, 88 homes in Townhead and another 30 homes in Sword Street.
In the Saltmarket, GHA spent £31,000 on installing new boilers in 20 homes, while 35 homes in the Gallowgate are warmer and more comfortable after GHA spent £106,000 on new gas heating systems.
