New health hub plan for Parkhead
A NEW hub will bring NHS health and social care services in the north and east of Glasgow together under one roof.
The new North East Glasgow Health and Social Care Hub will be located on the site of the current Parkhead Health Centre.
It will provide state-of-the-art services in a facility fit for the 21st century.
The new hub – which is expected to be ready in 2023 – will provide a range of health and care services, including GPs, children’s services, social work teams, district nursing services, mental health services, outpatient clinics and much more.
Patients and community groups have been closely involved in the plans.
