Community Chest Grants

Community Chest Grants are available to local groups whose projects will benefit GHA tenants.  Although the main priority is to fund small groups, larger groups such as schools, health organisations and libraries will be considered.  Examples might include football strips for a local team, a community sitting area or a landscaped area.

Education Grants

Education Grants are available to Glasgow Gold members applying for further or higher education.  The grants are also available to 16-19 year olds who live with their parents / guardians, who are Glasgow Gold members.

Community and Education grants are awarded monthly, this means applications can be submitted at any time.  Grants are awarded between £50-£500.

Glasgow Gold has recently helped members in education by providing grants for the purchase of books and laptop computers, as well as helping with travel expenses.

Golden Neighbour Awards

Glasgow Gold members nominate their neighbours who, if successful, receive flowers or chocolates, or CDs and certificates to say a big thank you for their kindness.  Our Golden Neighbour awards run every month.
